We are MULTIVISTA. We have need for a photographer, preferably with construction experience to add to our Portland Oregon team. Our team is made of dedicated professionals that are honest, on-time and committed to a job-well-done. The SHORT version: • Photograph active jobsites • Catalog work each evening for our customers to use the following day • Interact with Construction Management and job trailer onsite as a respectable representative of Multivista • Photography assignments are issued by calendar • Flexible schedule • Must have reliable transportation • Must have reliable cell phone with data • Part time to Full-time position available with immediate need • NO direct experience necessary in both fields, willing to train • Training can be expected for the first 30 days of work • Full-Time W2 employment • MUST pass drug-test The LONG Version What We Need: - We’re seeking an experienced, organized construction professional. We are in need of a competent individual, knowledgeable in construction or architecture, but are willing to train an eager and motivated individual. What You Can Do: - Proficiently use, and be willing to be trained on, various reality capture technologies (including digital photography, webcam, video cameras, 3D camera, and unmanned aerial vehicles/UAVs) to visually capture construction progress mainly in Portland but throughout Southern Washington and Northern Oregon. - Organize and understand how to read construction floor plans - Navigate a construction jobsite safely while taking steady, high-quality photos - Consistently adhere to standard operating policies and procedures - Perform regular quality assurance checks as part of daily workflow - Produce daily reports and relay information to the Operations Manager - Proactively communicate with construction project personnel and listen for opportunities to provide additional documentation services to the client - Maintain a professional appearance on site at all times as a representative of Multivista - Assist with the management of project schedules - Confidently use various computer formats to set up projects, manage projects, and enter data (e.g., tablets, desktops, laptops, smartphones, etc.) Who You Are: - You currently reside in the Portland Metro area. The office is Lake Oswego - You have construction or photography experience working in the commercial or residential building industry - You can read and discern construction drawings and documents - You can autonomously manage a schedule, are detailed oriented, and have exceptional organizational and time-management skills - You are a self-motivated and dependable team player - You have a valid California driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation - You can confidently operate a computer, tablet, and smart phone to setup and manage projects, have a working knowledge of Microsoft office, and the ability to learn new software platforms quickly - You can lift and carry up to 35lbs, occasionally up and down stairs - You can walk 4 to 6 hours in the day, some times at heights and on uneven surfaces -You can pass a drug screening test - You understand that construction site visits will make up the largest part of your day and you'll be facing outside weather elements or conditions expected on a construction site, like dust and noise, are common and should be anticipated.
