Put simply, I am Jones-ing to play music with someone who has kinda the same mindset and skill level as me. I know and love a great number of songs, and enjoy extended jams; I also like just relaxing and exploring the musical moment; I can pick up new song on the spot, or transpose an old one easily. My range of musical interests include older classics like summertime, all of me, blue moon, wayfaring stranger, Russian lullaby, as well as A lot of reggae, 60s and 70s hits, the Stones, the Dead, a bit RnB, all kinds of blues, as well as a few of the standards of Bluegrass, gospel and older country. I’m a good listener—a priority to me is collaboration: swapping leads, swapping rhythms, swapping vocals, and swapping favorite songs. Small ego, big heart.
