Now Hiring for Landscape Installer Posted February 5, 2021 15 positions with Nebraska Nursery and Color Gardens – Lincoln, NE and surrounding areas in same MSA. Temp. Full Time (04/01/2021 to 11/30/2021). Perform various landscape/turf maintenance, upkeep, and other landscaping tasks: cut/remove existing landscapes and grading; build berms and set grades per landscaping design; install landscape materials, drainage, and irrigation system components; and spread and lay wood/gravel mulch. $13.86/hour paid bi-weekly (every two weeks). 40hrs/wk. 7:30am – 4:00pm. Sunday – Saturday. Housing stipend provided at a rate of $125 per month. Nebraska Nursery will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Nebraska Nursery will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Transportation (including meals, and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed by company check if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be paid by Nebraska Nursery if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by Nebraska Nursery. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 (changed 3-10-21 $13.17) per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Nebraska Nursery will reimburse workers for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees and charges primarily for the worker's benefit), within the first workweek. We reimburse employees who travel by bus to the job site. However, those workers that choose to fly instead are paid for the bus fare by Nebraska Nursery, and then, Nebraska Nursery pays for the plane fare, which is then deducted from their pay. Nebraska Nursery will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Job requirements: 2 months previous experience with landscape maintenance and renovation. Ability to move equipment weighing 100 lbs.
