JOB TITLE: Yard Crew Supervisor REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance & Assistant Maintenance Director PAY RANGE: $23.00 to $25.00 DOE POSITION TYPE: Full Time/Year Around Minimum Requirements: ● Minimum 18 years of age and must hold a valid Washington State driver's license. ● Dependable, punctual and reliable. Driven by integrity. ● Passionate about providing excellent and memorable guest service. ● Able to adapt to job or organizational changes. Readily accepts new responsibilities and assignments. ● Two years of supervisory experience, preferably directing 10 more employees. ● Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to assess whether repairs are being made efficiently and accurately. ● Able to safely lift 50 pounds, and carry loads up stairs and lift items overhead. ● Constant walking, standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, and moving during working hours. ● Ability to take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere. ● Good listening and English verbal communication skills. ● Self-starter and works with little supervision. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. ● Supervises yard maintenance operations to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing resort environment. ● Assists Maintenance Director and Assistant Maintenance Director in the professional development and training of yard crew employees. ● Coordinates and performs yard and grounds custodial duties such as sidewalk and parking lot sweeping, cobweb removal, lawn and pool maintenance, beach cleanup, BBQ grill maintenance and waste removal. ● Leads and supports beach attendant personnel. ● Provides support for other department requests. ● Addresses guest and customer concerns diplomatically and effectively. ● Monitors and enforces resort rules such as wristband policy. ● Develops and sustains good interdepartmental communication to continuously improve our business. ● Manage and assign boat moorage slips. ● Assist in winter snow removal ● Identifies, plans and addresses irrigation system repair and maintenance. ● Perform parts and material research for purchasing. Maintain materials supply to avoid operational delays. ● Monitor yard crew’s overall daily work plans and productivity. Offer efficiency and productivity improvements to the Maintenance Director and Assistant Maintenance Director for consideration. ● Ensure company vehicles are in good, operational order. ● Gain proficiency in Campbell's Resort services and history. as well as Lake Chelan recreational opportunities. ● Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times. ● Follow all safety standards and use proper protective equipment. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adjust work schedule to meet business demands.
