Stone Works Inc., is a highly successful and privately owned company located in Gaithersburg, MD that performs residential and commercial work in DC, MD & VA. We are currently in need of hiring a full-time experienced Masonry Field Superintendent The ideal candidate should be able to read plans/drawings to ensure all are being followed and to provide detailed information of factors or issues that may affect the construction of the project along with the skills listed below. Construction Tasks: · Complete all demolition, excavation, trenching, grading and drainage work. · Construct gravel and concrete foundations and footers · Build paver and natural stone patios, retaining and sitting walls, fire pits, fireplaces and outdoor kitchen and grill islands. Project Management Tasks: · Create weekly production reports on all active jobs. · Assist Construction Manager with warranty work. · Direct all field labor and subcontractors. · Schedule material and equipment deliveries Requirements: · Proficient in stone and brick veneer, mortared flatwork, dry-stacked stone walls and edging · Must have own transportation. · Knowledge and experience in patio construction · Knowledge and experience of residential masonry construction required. · Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not a requirement.
