Description
A well-known, international company is looking to hire a Warehouse Material Handler at its Thousand Oaks, CA client location. This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits. Qualified candidates must have at least 1-2 years of Material Handling, Forklift and Order Picking experience.
Work Schedule:
2nd Shift (Monday - Friday)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Picking, packing, and physical material movements to support warehouse activities.
Responsible for inventory movements, processing shipments, locating inbound materials, cycle counting and all system corresponding transactions
Loads materials onto vehicles, installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage
Safely moves, loads, and unloads product to and from pallet racks with MHE.
Reads orders and/or follows oral instructions to meet scheduled activities as directed.
Receive materials and verify materials against packing lists to ensure accuracy
Wears personal protective Equipment as required for the job
Maintain Inventory accuracy and Manufacturing production requirements.
Operates power industrial trucks and forklift, to push, pull, and lift materials in warehouse
Material Handlers will also be accountable for the accuracy of material integrity
REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years of experience related to Material Handling.
Experience operating a forklift is required
Familiarity with MS Office, WMS and RF scanner devices is desired.
High school Diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping carriers and shipping regulations
Basic knowledge of equipment.
Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must.
Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines.
