Our biogas plant, the first of its kind in the U.S., converts all of our agricultural waste into electricity, generating twice the amount that we need to run the farm. RESPONSIBILITIES This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company. This responsibility extends over all shifts. During absence, the following position serves as coverage to this position: Purchasing Manager Stock all items purchased to replenish our inventory Maintain all aisles in the warehouse accurately organized All shelves must be organized as much as possible, look out for items that are not in their corresponding location and relocate to correct stocking location Must use forklift or ladder to organize the racks against the wall Organize all parts and supplies accordingly and update Cworks/Solomon as necessary for inventory accuracy There are heavy parts on the racks that require more than 2 people to lift and some w/ chains and shackles Run daily cycle counts and write orders using the requisitions as necessary to replenish stock Make inventory adjustments in Cworks/Solomon for accuracy Maintain order of all parts from projects that have been cancelled or postponed Sign for packages, check goods with packing slips for accuracy Match packing slips with Purchase Orders Use forklift to off load deliveries Put away stock parts and supplies in their correct areas (this may require carrying heavy boxes up the ladder) Place direct issue orders for equipment and projects in the correct cubbies of the person who requested the order (see the Purchase Order) Deliver packages to the shop areas or the front office as needed Restock PPE and supplies in the front office closet as needed Receive parts in Cworks/Solomon to complete the purchase order process Assist with the issuing of parts taken from stock (this is an everyday task) Assist all employees that walk in looking for parts and supplies including plant personnel looking for PPE and/or cleaning supplies (this happens every day all day long) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
