Seeking Full Time Ramp Truck Driver Chappell Tractor has an opening for an experienced Full Time Ramp Truck Driver at our Milford, NH location. The position involves pickup and delivery of lawn & garden equipment and compact tractors to customers locations using a ramp truck and a pickup with a trailer. The pickup and deliveries are mostly within New Hampshire and Massachusetts. There are some runs to Maine and Vermont. Looking for a mature individual who is patient, dependable and has an excellent driving record. Must be meticulous about maintenance of the trucks and makes safety the highest priority. Perform daily inspections of equipment and keep accurate logs and records. Must be flexible regarding the work schedule and be willing to start early, work late and work Saturday mornings when needed. Knowledge of DOT regulations is mandatory. To be considered for this position, candidates must have a CDL Class B License and prior experience as a truck driver hauling equipment to and from customers/job sites. Must be in good health, have a medical examiner certificate, and pass all alcohol and controlled substance abuse testing.
