Job Description: A Spray-Net N. Atlanta Prep Technician “Prep Tech” is a vital part of the production team. It is their job to work alongside all production team members on the jobsite to ensure a quality finished product that is executed in a timely manner. Responsibilities and tasks: • Operates high-pressure washing equipment in a safe and responsible manner in advance of production day to ensure a clean surface and good adhesion during paint production. • Leads with prepping all surfaces for painting by washing, taping, sanding, caulking, removing front entry doors, and performs minor repairs when requested to do so in conjunction with other team members. • Protects all customer’s non-painting property, e.g., landscaping, walkways, furniture, and other belongings from damage and (or) overspray. • Helps to maintain tools and equipment. • Responds professionally and proactively to customer inquiries and (or) concerns. • Helps prep at start of day and clean-up/break-down jobsite at the end of the day. • Always abides by Spray-Net N. Atlanta production standards and safety policies. • Perform task in all areas of the team • Lives the company values and brand promise. Qualifications/requirements: • Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship. • Valid and unencumbered Georgia driver’s license. • Proof of right to work in the United States. • Able to pass background and drug screening • Comfortable working at heights. • Familiarity and proficiency working with common hand and power tools. • Safety minded. • Keen organizational skills. • Flexible work schedule and hours, weekdays & weekends. • Enjoys working outdoors. To execute this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers to write, work with power tools and computer, mobile phone and (or) tablet devices; speak, hear and comprehend the English language proficiently. The employee is required to walk and reach with hands and arms, stoop and lift up to 65 lbs. Residential and potential commercial jobsite work will be common, so climbing on ladders, scaffolding, using mechanical lifts and negotiating job site conditions are necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to be skilled at driving a full-size pickup truck while trailing equipment in a safe and efficient manner if called upon to do so.
