Hi! My name is Jacob, I am a professional musician living here in Brooklyn, and am offering lessons in guitar and voice, as well as songwriting, composition, and music theory. I have studied with some of the best musicians in New York and have toured extensively with my own projects, earning two nominations for Best Jazz Artist by the Boston Music Awards two years in a row. My job is not simply to teach you how to play music. It is to give you the tools and inspiration to play and love music, to follow your ear and learn eventually through self-study. By studying with me, you will learn how to play your instrument with technique and musicality, use your ear in conjunction with theory, and appreciate music in ways you may not have considered.
