I am posting for a friend. Rehoming Pure breed German Short Hair Pointer to her forever home Meet Winnie she is a 3 and a half year old GSP, she is a kind, fun loving doggo. But she is not for the faint of heart, Because of her breed she needs a large amount of space, Preferably at least a few acres of property to be able to run, most yard just wont be enough for her. This is unfortunately why we are looking for someone else, because even with our fairly sized yard and walking her when we can, due to our schedules and in ability to be able to take her to many places to free roam we have noticed that her needs are just not getting met unfortunately. She is great with kids, her and our 4 year old get along great, as well as she is friendly with other dogs and cats as long as she has had time to be properly introduce. She loves to play at the river and is an exceptional fetcher, this being said in addition to having the space she does need quality time, she is a very social pup so she will need either other dogs or a good bit of human affection. She has had I believe two litters neither of which were under my care and even though I have been told she is pure breed I do not have papers sorry. Also she is still unaltered but I would be willing to help who ever get set up with resources to get her fixed if they so choose. Winnie is a wonderful dog and has done well to transition into our family I so wish that I could still keep her she has become quite a companion to all of us and I will dearly miss her when she has found a different home. I may even be willing to wave the rehoming fee if allowed to physically or virtually visit the home.
