Animals of all kinds are welcome at St. Christopher Episcopal Church's Blessing of the Pets on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. Not just housepets--we've blessed livestock before. Pastor Pamela does ask anybody who's bringing exotic animals to leave them in their carriers. They'll receive their blessings, too. Join neighbors and all the Episcopal churches in Lake County for this informal event. The Episcopal church welcomes you--and your pets. (South of Walgreens and west of Crown Point High School)
