This role begins now and goes until the end of October, with the possibility of extending through the Christmas season and longer. JKH Industries Corporation is a well-established manufacturer and e-retailer of holiday costumes and decorations. Our inventory is made up of fun, fantastical items that sell year-round (but go full force during Halloween!) Our on-site team works together from start to finish. Each member of our team brings their unique skills to the table! We fulfill orders from our warehouse in Valencia, California, while also utilizing third party marketplace fulfillment (such as FBA). We are a hardworking crew who enjoy creativity and fun products! Responsibilities and Duties The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Picking/Packing orders Assisting cleaning warehouse when necessary; sweeping, trash, cleaning out refrigerator Packaging finished products for shipping (heat seal wrapping, boxing, labeling) Unloading/checking in product from truck or delivery packages Being responsible for quality control Operating within standard operating procedures and Job Safety Analysis Cleaning and maintaining work area Replacing go-backs Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required 1-2 years of related experience working in similar industry preferred but not required Forklift certification and applicable state certification for truck and/or rail operation preferred but not required Good oral communication skills Manual dexterity required for operating machinery Ability to be a team player, stay motivated, and meet deadlines Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
