One of the founders of the Taliban and the chief enforcer of its harsh interpretation of Islamic law when they last ruled Afghanistan said the hard-line movement will once again carry out executions and amputations of hands, though perhaps not in public. Their leaders will continue to follow the teachings of the Koran, supposedly. I wonder what kind of god they follow, when they beat women, rape young boys, and execute anyone who speaks up against them. It is not the Muslim way. Most Muslims I have known are kind, generous people. No matter what people say about them, they are people just like us.
