We have immediate openings for a Dough Technician & Tortilla Packers (Empacadores de Tortillas). The Tortilla Packer (Empacadores de Tortillas) will be packaging tortillas, putting them in boxes and stacking them on pallets, Company is willing to train as long as you can keep up with the production lines. Must be able to stand a long period of time and be able to carry 50lbs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the proper hand-packaging of quality corn or flour tortillas and/or fried products. • Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices, especially good hand-washing practices. • Hand package corn or flour tortillas and/or fried products. • Look at stacker mirror at all times to watch for tortilla and or fried product jams. • Check the appearance and quality of tortillas/fried product. • Check bags to make sure proper packaging is being used. • Ensure catch-pan is cleaned constantly. • Inspect tortillas/fried product to assure they are free of foreign materials or contamination. • Keep work area clean. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends and holidays. Dough Tech: You will be operating the mixer and putting dough into a dispenser along with a few other responsibilities. Not much to it. Willing to train. Must be able to stand a long period of time and be able to carry 50lbs. Perform other duties as assigned.
