Join us at Divine Distillers for the first Annual Watermelon Smash, Benefiting JDRF! It’s been a stressful year and a half, especially for nonprofit organizations. Our hats off to all those who have been managing constant policy changes, Zoom calls, and children that never ever leave the house! Divine Distillers invites you to release some of your stress during their Annual Watermelon Smash happening Friday, October 1st from 4-8 pm at our Salem location. Destroy watermelons with sledgehammers and machetes while raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research. Our strength lies in our exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end type 1 diabetes. JDRF improves lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications. It’s easy to participate: 1. Gather your team of two to ten people 2. Smash your stress away 3. Raise money for JDRF Our on-site food carts will offer delicious Mexican and Hawaiian food and Divine Distillers’ tasting room will be open serving adult pumpkin lattes, watermelon lemonade, and spiced apple cider to help you keep your strength up.
