Dia de los Muertos Revolutionary Storytime in Partnership with the Kravis Center (All Ages) *Under the Wishing Tree Join us as we dive into another children's book that promotes diversity and inclusivity- fostering our social justice abilities! We'll be reading a book honoring Dia de los Muertos (November 1-2) in partnership with the Kravis Center S.T.A.R. Series of DANCE THEATER OF FLORIDA DIA DE LOS MUERTOS Thursday and Friday, October 28-29 10am and 11:30am About The Kravis Center S.T.A.R. Series (Students & Teachers Arts Resources): S*T*A*R is motivated by a belief in the value of arts education with a commitment to the children of our community. The Kravis Center brings classroom curricula to life for tens of thousands of local students each year through the S*T*A*R Series, offering access to a diverse array of top-quality programming. These performances provide students exposure to live theatre, spark classroom discussion, enhance classroom studies and stimulate the curiosity of young minds. An Admission Waiver Program – Sponsored by Jim and Irene Karp – assures that no student will be denied admission due to economic need. We’ll be extending the learning of selected performances through intentionally curated Revolutionary Storytimes on Rosemary Square Lawn each month. When teachers and caregivers present their ticket the day of Storytime, we’ll be offering a discount on the presented book.
