2021 Fall Dance for the Symphonettes The Symphonettes is a student – run service organization made up of senior high school students from various schools throughout Miami Dade County. The organization is committed to educating, empowering and supporting the community through the development of music and arts. Club members work to organize and participate in service projects, usher music concerts throughout Miami and fundraise for musical organizations in need. Fundraisers include an annual fashion show and silent auction. Recipients of the Symphonettes grants include Florida Youth Orchestra, South Florida Youth Symphony, Greater Miami Youth Symphony, Coral Gables Chamber Symphony & Opera, Guitars over Guns, Miami Children's Chorus, Miami Children's Theater, Young Musicians Unite, Voices United, Miami String Project, Greater Miami Symphonic Band, American Children's Orchestra, So. Florida Youth Symphony, Florida International University, and many Elementary Middle & High School Music Programs. Led by community leaders, the Coral Gables Community Foundation provides the philanthropic conduit to connect individuals and corporations looking to positively impact the success of the community. For the last 30 years, the Foundation has been at the forefront of the evolving needs of Coral Gables while effectively bringing together beneficiaries and benefactors to fund programs with the greatest impact and benefit to “The City Beautiful.”
