Description

Join us for a community candlelight vigil in memory of our babies in Heaven. The Wave of Light Remembrance is observed annually on Oct. 15. It is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or the death of a newborn. The Wave of Light Ceremony will unite friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour. The continuous chain of light encompasses and spans across the world and around the globe for a 24-hour period illuminating the night in love and light in honor and remembrance of our children. This is an event for families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss and their friends and family. Together, we will light candles on the beach and hear our babies’ names during our Reading of the Names ceremony. United in our heartache, we will remember our precious babies in Heaven. We look forward to sharing a night of hope and healing with you. Please arrive by 6:30pm. We will meet in the upstairs event space at Bold Mariner Brewery and walk down to the beach access across the street with our candles at 6:45pm. The candle lighting and name reading will take place promptly at 7pm. We will conclude with snacks/drinks and connection time after in the event space. Please provide us with the name of your baby (babies) during registration if you would like us to include them in the name reading ceremony. We will also show the ceremony on Facebook Live and/or Zoom. If you are unable to attend in person, but would like to be included in the name ceremony, please email [email protected].
