The ideal candidate will harbor a passion for construction and devote the urgency to our projects. The Project Manager’s job is to assist in overseeing each project from conception to the finished product, interfacing with both construction professionals and the client. You must be willing to travel to neighboring cities to visit and work on job sites The job includes hands-on, technical and project-related administrative duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work environment and is well-versed in working closely with senior management. This position is in our Miami, FL office. Role and Responsibilities Manage field employees & recommends applicants for employment. Enforce job site safety regulations. Tracks all projects from start to completion of construction, communicating clearly and effectively with coworkers and customers on project status both verbally and in writing. Obtain sub-contractor quotes as necessary for projects. Coordinate projects / work schedule with Sub-Contractors and field supervisor. Approve invoices for Sub contractors assigned to your specific project. Insure quality by inspecting jobs and performance Maintains records of jobs performed, departmental charge codes and hours worked by employees. Recommends improvements, changes or new techniques and procedures. Monitors jobs to insure quality and proper compliance with job standards. Prepare Work Orders if necessary for jobs under construction. Managing and monitoring all project costs to meet budgetary guidelines Scheduling project inspections and manage job through to completion Preferred Skills Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and autonomously Competitive, goal oriented, well organized and highly detailed Excellent problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills required Basic knowledge of Residential & Commercial construction Physically cable of climbing & Carrying ladders Bilingual
