The premier Be Ready Utah Expo offers classes, an interactive center, and exhibitors booths for emergency preparedness, health, and safety.
The first-ever Be Ready Utah Expo, which was forced to cancel in 2020 due to the pandemic, replaces the popular Utah Prepare Conference and Expo. The Be Ready Utah Expo will expand by offering classes, hands-on learning activities, and retail and non-profit exhibitor booths on the topics of emergency preparedness, health, and safety. Be Ready Utah Expo partners include the Utah Division of Emergency Management, USU Extension Service, American Red Cross, Disaster Discovery Center, U of U Health, and Salt Lake County Emergency Services.
The Utah Division of Emergency Management (dem.utah.gov) is the State's lead agency for coordinating state resources in a disaster. Utah DEM also conducts emergency preparedness efforts before a disaster through its Be Ready Utah program (BeReadyUtah.gov). Be Ready Utah aims to help families, businesses, schools and communities get ready for disaster.
