Description
Hi! I've spent the past decade working as a podcast editor, and I've recently incorporated a small audio production company. I'm looking for an assistant editor to join me on a freelance basis to help with basic editing work as I expand my hunt for new clients and grow my company.
Right now I'm looking for an assistant editor who is able to take on work on a per-project basis. Projects consist of 30-60 minute long podcast episodes- cleaning up audio, removing white noise, cutting out 'ums', flubs, adding intro/outtro music and stings, etc.
At the moment I can pay a stipend of $50 per completed episode; I'm hoping that this will turn into a regular gig for another editor or two as I continue to grow my client base.
If you're interested, please respond with a little bit about yourself, your audio production experience, and 2-3 clips of whatever editing work you're most proud of...please keep the clips under 5 minutes in length!
I'm based in NYC, however you can live anywhere as long as you're able to operate on an EST schedule.
