Pack 610 Fall Camp Out

Description

We are kicking off the scouting camping season with our Fall Campout at Mounds State Park. The official start time of our campout is 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2021. You can come early and if the youth tent area is available you can set up your tent and help us set up camp. We have rented site "D." Please know these are primitive sites with pit toilets and use of the restroom facilities outside the youth tent area is prohibited. There will be hiking, fishing (bring your own poles), and games. The cost is $10 a person but no more than $30 per family. No need to pay until after popcorn sales. If you make enough money selling popcorn your cost will be covered. After popcorn sales you can either cover the cost with your popcorn money from your scout account or just pay if your account doesn't cover it. There is a $7 per vehicle charge as you enter park that is not covered by the pack. This is family camping and all children must have adult supervision. Dinner, snacks, drinks, and breakfast will be provided. If you want to help with the cooking (cast iron over propane flame) please let us know! If you have any special dietary needs please let us know. We have limited tents and sleeping bags. If you would like to borrow these items please let us know so we can ensure we have enough.
