I’m swallowing some pride to write this one… We met in aisle 9 at Safeway today, and I was really surprised at how easy you were to talk to! You mentioned what you do for work and I wish I could’ve heard more about it. I thought about asking for your number, but didn’t want to make you uncomfortable if I was reading into it too much. And then I left my card at home and felt like I should save myself at least a little bit of the humiliation. I’m sorry if I misread the situation and you weren’t actually flirting, but I do hope that you were :) So I know it’s you: tell me what part of your outfit I complimented, as well as what color that thing was, and I’d love to take you for coffee sometime! I look much cuter out of my “clean the apartment” clothes.
