Fifth Annual Undergraduate Research Information Session

Kids

100 University Drive,Prairie View TX 77446

18 October, 2021

Description

"Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose." - Zora Neale Hurston If you are curious about the world...how things work, why people behave the way they do, how to build a better structure, or how to make life better in the future - you are a natural researcher. On October 18th, you will have the chance to learn from more than 10 undergraduate programs that you can apply for (most for the summer). You will also hear from PVAMU students who have participated in summer programs and will share with you their experiences and advice. We will host a Zoom webinar where different representatives from in and outside of Texas will tell you more about their program requirements, how to apply, and best of all, the benefits of participating (usually this includes a stipend, room & board, and round-trip transportation if out of the state). NOTE: This event will be on ZOOM. After registration and before October 18th, you will receive the Zoom link for the event. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact either Dr. Susan Frazier-Kouassi at (936) 261-5209, [email protected] OR Dr. Grace Abolaji, [email protected], (936) 261-1565.
