Barktoberfest - Bavarian-style fun for dogs and their humans raising funds for Live Like Roo Barktoberfest 2021 Canine Crews creates a dog-centric celebration featuring beer and german food in an attempt to reproduce the Bavarian sense of gemutlichkeit (cordiality). All humans must be fully vaccinated (yes, that means Covid vaccine) and masked when not eating/drinking. We also like the parents to play nicely. Purchase t-shirts prior to event through https://www.liberation-press.com/shop/barktoberfest Canine Crews opened their doors in January of 2010 and have hosted hundreds of events to help create safe places for dogs to be part of our community.  In 2018, Canine Crews expanded to River West with their second location.  Canine Crews offer dog daycare, overnight boarding, dog walks, dog bus, cat visits, indoor dog park events as well as pet retail.  Our original location is in West Bucktown (1616 N Washtenaw Ave) and 2nd space is in River West (837 N Milwaukee Ave).
