ATTN: BARNSTABLE; Cape Cod residents / South Shore residents HELP WANTED - One Day only DATE: Sat, October 2, 2021 TIMES: 8:30am - 6:00pm {9.50 hrs} ADDRESS: 997 Craigville Beach Rd., Centerville (Barnstable), MA 02632 QUANTITY OPENINGS/POSITIONS: Seven (7). SPECIFIC DETAILS: * A Massachusetts corporation has been hired as the vendor to provide parking attendants for this year's annual "Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port", a charity bicycle ride from Boston to Barnstable. This year's finish line is at Craigville Beach, Centerville (Barnstable), MA. * It has been determined that an extra set of additional staff are needed to help get the participants parked in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS: * Your identity - first & last name, mailing address, city, state, zip, e-mail address, and cell phone number. * Speak English fluently (no disrespect to anyone, but voice communication to one another is important. * Arrive on time, just prior and start promptly at 08:30am (Sat, 10/2). * Common sense. * Remain calm! We have done this before many times. It does get stressful when participants are running late to arrive, park & check in with registration. The two-way radios will help us by relaying messages to one another where to direct cars, and keep things flowing smooth. * No one shall be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This is a professional charity bicycle ride and families will be present with their children. PAY RATE / WAGES: * $13.00 per hour. Working full shift = $123.50 plus fuel/gas/travel stipend. * Upon completion of everyone being parked at or about 6:00pm, and the day's end of the charity bicycle ride, our duties are completed. You will be paid in-person. SIGNING UP: * First come, first served {until all five (5) positions are filled}. * College students welcome. * You MUST "reply" to this ad. **Provide me with your full name, address, town, direct e-mail address & cell phone number. If for any reason you have to cancel, please notify us ASAP so we can fill your opening with the next patiently waiting in turn. * We will create a "back up staff list", in case of the need of more than (7 total) and/or if someone cancels prior to event day. * FYI: If you are not signed up & approved in advance, do Not show up the morning of. We are Not hiring individuals on the spot early Saturday morning...
