Great career opportunity to grow with the company. We are a hood cleaning and repair company that cleans kitchen hood systems to prevent fires from occurring in commercial kitchens. We have an opening for a qualified kitchen hood exhaust Cleaning Technician. Our technicians service local accounts and travel around the Houston and Galveston area to perform hood cleaning services. It is preferred that Technicians have at least 6 months of hood cleaning experience. If not, training will be provided. If you have a solid work history with a good attendance record and are looking for more than just a job, this opportunity may be for you. Cleaning Technician must be a team-player with the ability to take direction and read and understand safety and work procedures. This is a general labor type position. Job Responsibilities Inspect and clean kitchen exhaust systems to NFPA #96 code cleaning standards. Be able to safely work around fixed pipe fire suppression systems. Clean full kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, ductwork, access panels, filters, and exhaust fans. Setting up all equipment for the cleaning process: power washers, pump sprayers, plastic, chemicals. Ability to work late nights or early mornings. Must pay attention to detail in the cleaning process. Maintain professional appearance and attitude while on the job. Safely use various relevant tools Work Experience and Requirements 6 months of experience in kitchen hood exhaust cleaning is preferred. If not, training will be provided. Must have a flexible schedule to work nights and early mornings (when client serviced locations are typically closed). Valid Driver's License with clean record Must be dependable and on time. Must be able to climb ladders to get on the rooftop to clean fans. Must be able to work in hot and cold weather outdoors. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Must have good communication skills with customers and management. High school or equivalent (Preferred) US work authorization Dependable transportation – technicians will meet at storage warehouse before each shift. Ability to pass a drug test. Must be agile enough to work in tight places and do lots of climbing. Mechanical experience is helpful. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
