"The Emmett" Mayberry Days Golf Tournament
$100 per golfer includes green fees, country buffet dinner, golf awards presentation, special guest autograph opportunities (additional fees may apply) and entertainment.
The golf tournament was renamed in 2013 in memory of Emmett Forrest (The Keeper of the Flame) an avid golfer and a true friend to everyone he met, whether playing golf or at the Andy Griffith Museum.
This Mayberry Days event is at Cross Creek Country Club with a "Sheriff's Choice" golf tournament that begins at High Noon with the Ernest "Tee-Off" at 12:30 p.m. for the shotgun start. Hole sponsors add something special to each hole and Special Guests and tribute artists move about the course with refreshments and laughs. Teams compete for trophies, awards and bragging rights for the year.
Individuals or pairs are welcome to golf and will be assigned to a team before the tournament.
Please be sure to include the name(s) of any other golfers on your team when registering.
