A guided walking tour highlighting the various buildings and architectural significance of downtown La Crosse during Fall Fest. This tour explores the great architectural history of La Crosse while featuring local businesses. Enjoy your tour of downtown La Crosse and don’t forget to “look up” to see the architectural character of the historic downtown buildings! For this tour, meet at Jules Coffee House (327 Pearl Street) prior to 2pm. Led by a member of the La Crosse Public Library. Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. (DMI) is responsible for the economic redevelopment and revitalization of downtown La Crosse through collaborative efforts between public and private partners. The organization works to enhance, revitalize, and redevelop La Crosse’s historic central business district through the elements of the organization, design, promotion, and economic restructuring.
