Crazy awesome day 'o fun featuring a kids' criterium (BIKE RACE)! This race will be fire! We're hosting a race for kids, ages 3-11, in downtown Bentonville. We will have the following categories by age group: Balance bikes (for 5 and under)PedalAWD/para-cycling Each racer will get a numbered bike plate with a timing chip...because we are LEGIT...and a totally rad medal. The top three times in each category will stand on a podium and collect their trophy! But wait, there's more! Food, crafts, discovery play, character reading nook, yoga, LIVE music by Handshake Saints - crazy fun will be had by all! Strider Bikes, Buddy Pegs, 37 North, Cocoon Yoga, Flintco, The Ledger will be doling out the fun. NWACC Bicycle Tech program will be on hand to let the kids tinker on bikes PLUS they're hosting our first ever fix a flat competition between bike shops. Who's the fastest? We're "fixin" to find out! If your child needs a bike, there is an option during registration to sign up for Pedal It Forward to bring one to the event for them to keep. While the event is free, there is a fee for each race participant. Registration is required for all festival attendees. Registration is also required for all race particiants.
