Please be advised that beginning on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:00 A.M., weather permitting, Sunshine Paving Corporation will be paving (binder) on Longwood Road (West Street to #57 Longwood Road), Jere Road (all), and Lothrop Road (all). Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. If residents need their vehicle during this time, please relocate it to a street outside of the work zone. Also, all on-street parking will be prohibited and strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
For abutters of Longwood Road, the Kelch Road gate, located at the end of Kelch Road, will be open for connection to West Street (via Johnson Woods). If work is occurring on your scheduled trash day, please have your trash and recycling at the curb no later than 6:00 A.M. to ensure pickup.
