BLUE POINT, NY — The GoFundMe page dedicated to raising money for Gabby Petito's family will continue to cover general expenses incurred by the search and effort to bring her home, and the remaining funds will be donated to a charity, according to the page organizer, Gary Rider. The roughly $82,000 in funds raised will cover general expenses such as transportation, legal fees, and care of the family "through this difficult period," Rider wrote in an update on Monday. "The worst fears of any parent have been realized with the recovery of Gabby," he wrote. "We are devastated and heartbroken."
