Description

Research for Action’s (RFA) Allegheny County Education Research (ACER) project is hosting an in-person town hall on Tuesday, Oct. 5th. RFA’s town hall is an opportunity for families, school leaders, community members, and other education stakeholders to join together to discuss a critical issue for schools: teacher mobility. This event will highlight RFA’s recent report on Allegheny County’s Teacher Mobility and feature a panel of local educational leaders who have direct impact working to reduce teacher mobility and increase teacher workforce stability within our county’s public schools. Community members will learn from local superintendents, principals, instructional coaches, and educators on the topic. All participants will have an opportunity to network and connect after the panel presentation concludes. Light refreshments will be provided. In an effort to accommodate health and safety protocols, registration for the event will be limited to 50 guests. The town hall is free and open to community members. At this time, RFA kindly asks that participants only register for the event if they are fully vaccinated for for COVID-19. More details on event logistics will be sent to registrants via email.
