Local business is seeking part-time Warehouse /Food Closet Associates from 9 am - 1 pm, Monday through Friday. The employee is responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing goods, assisting clientele as needed, stocking shelves and keeping the Warehouse or Food Closet clean and organized. Employee must promote our core values of compassion, respect, integrity, sustainability, empowerment and teamwork.
In addition to the listed duties, other duties may be assigned by the lead supervisor. The job description shall not be construed as a contract and is not a complete list of all miscellaneous, incidental or other duties which may be assigned during normal operations. Over-time may be required during certain times of the year.
Required skills include:
Ability to work with a wide variety of families with care and respect
Ability to work with and instruct volunteers
Able to lift 30 pounds
Able to stand for long period of time
Able to perform repetitive tasks
Excellent verbal and written skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
