Sasha has been part of my family since 2016. He lived his puppyhood as a stray and was injured when we met. We speculated that he was being attacked by other dogs on the beach where he lived. Because of his history, he can be anxious and startles at certain specific types of triggers, can nip. We have supported this with behavioral training and he has a custom muzzle which he doesn’t complain about and wears 100% of the time when out. We are looking for a calm environment with no children under 12 years old. He fears aggressive dogs but is fine with most. He has not been raised around cats. I would ask for a short written statement from you saying that you would be willing to adopt or foster, where you live, a little bit about the living situation and why it would be a good home for him. If finances are an issue, I would be willing to contribute towards his expenses through his lifetime as needed.
