CARMINE GUGLIELMI FUNDRAISER We would appreciate if you could share this link with your family and friends for Carmine Guglielmi . Carmine has been a long-time resident of Milford CT. On July 15, 2021 he was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was struck by an oncoming vehicle that was taking a left hand turn when trying to beat a yellow light. This happened right in front of CVS in Milford. Carmine had the right of way, but the other driver never saw him coming and took the left turn and hit him directly. The accident has left Carmine impaired and as a result he has had a lower extremity amputation (transtibial amputation), fractured pelvic, head injury, and many scrapes and bruises. Please join us on Oct 2, 2021 at Orange Ale House 517 Boston Post Road, Orange CT for a fundraiser for Carmine. All proceeds go directly to Carmines fund that support various medical expenses, living expenses, and future prosthetic expenses. We are asking for your support in our endeavor to raise money for Carmine. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated and would have a positive impact and an integral part of Carmines recovery. Lower extremity amputation is a complicated surgery, and the rehabilitation process involves many individuals. These people include physical therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, psychologist, and doctors. They must all work together to help maximize functional mobility and have a positive outcome after a lower extremity amputation.
