Father-Daughter Team Opens First Blo Blow Dry Bar in Stone Oak

Blo Blow Dry Bar, North America’s original blow dry bar and the world’s largest blow dry bar franchise, recently opened at 923 N. Loop 1604 E., #112 in Stone Oak. The new bar will offer guests five signature styles on its hair menu, a variety of hair treatments, plus five signature makeup looks and a brand new section of customized looks to provide endless inspiration. Also, for a limited time, the new bar will offer a founder’s rate for its signature Mane Squeeze Membership that includes two blowouts a month for $70, $5 off each additional blow out and 10% off retail. The Stone Oak location is owned and operated by a local father-daughter team, Fernando and Allison Reyes. After graduating from law school in 2012, Allison joined the family’s automotive business to learn more about human resources and accounting so she could later run a business of her own. Seven years ago, she experienced her first blow out while preparing for an Emmy award ceremony and immediately became a frequent customer of Blo Blow Dry Bar. During the pandemic, Allison received an email about owning a location of her own and never looked back. In the last month, she went from owning one location to receiving an opportunity to own all three San Antonio bars. Being a loyal customer of the Lincoln Heights bar since it opened in San Antonio, she knew the quality of service and employees and jumped at the chance to work with them. “During my first visit to Blo Blow Dry Bar, I was so impressed with the results and knew this was a company I wanted to be part of,” said Allison Reyes. “It means the world to me to partner with my father and have his support in this new business adventure.
