We have one male and one female GSP that need to be rehomed. They are both a little over a year old. I would like to keep them together if possible. They are both AKC registered with full breeding rights. They are truly amazing dogs. Amazing with kids (truly). They both would make great pets and both would make great hunting dogs if they were worked with more. However, there is one downside to each of them. The male does not do so well with other male dogs but does perfectly fine with females. The female will climb any metal fence you put her in (I recommend a wooden privacy fence). GSPs are not a cheap purchase and we paid a pretty penny for each of them. However, due to the downsides listed above it has made it impossible for us to keep them.
