Beginning bass guitar lessons for kids and adults. I've been playing since I was nine years old. I started on the six string and moved up to electric guitar when I was 11 and then bass when I was 13. I am jazz trained and an Audio Engineering student from the Evergreen State College. I have played live and local since 1986 and am also very adept in the studio and on stage. I teach basic comprehension of standard notation and an introduction to playing. Fingering techniques, reading, writing, chords, scales and exercises meant to build strength and dexterity. Basic classes start at $40 an hour. I focus on training the ear to match what's on the fretboard and timing. The essentials. I have both Moderna vaccines and am not opposed to remaining masked while in lessons.
