Golf Cars of Columbia is in search of a Golf Cart Mechanic. We are an authorized Club Car Dealer for Columbia, SC and we service Club Car's golf course fleet for 20+ Golf Courses in and around the Columbia Area. We also have a full service sales and service facility located on Two Notch Road in Northeast Columbia. If you are mechanically inclined, honest, ethical and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and work in an exciting and fun business, we are interested in investing in you and will provide on the job training. Responsibilities would include: Diagnose mechanical failures and repair all golf carts according to manuals, factory specifications, and knowledge of engine performances. Knowledge of electric and gas powered golf carts, engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, grinding experience - Required. Ensure all items under warranty are serviced properly. Order and maintain parts inventory. Read Work Orders and Sales Invoices to determine Repairs and/or Upgrades. Perform preventive maintenance per cart procedures. Customize Carts per customer order specifications, example...adding a lift kit and accessories to a cart for sale and resale. Travel to individual golf courses and off-site to diagnose and repair carts. Delivery and Pick up of carts to rentals. Possession of a valid South Carolina driver license. Requires the ability to exert force, and lift to, but not limited to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move or lift objects
