Oak Park, IL - Wonder Works Children's Museum is excited to kick off it's Fall and Winter programming schedule with the announcement of Box Works, a cardboard construction, fort-building themed event. The Box Works program is the first of the four-part Works Series developed to offer immersive museum takeover events scheduled throughout 2021-2022. Visitors of all ages will completely transform Wonder Works Children's Museum into a maze of box forts, houses, and cardboard inventions during the 5-day Box Works museum takeover event. With specialized tools from MakedoⓇ and BoxLoxⓇ, children can saw, connect, tape, build and transform everyday cardboard boxes into their very own creations. Imaginations will run wild as children have free rein to tinker, make and engineer all while developing critical early childhood STEM skills! Reserve your family's ticket now! Wonder Works Children's Museum will offer multiple daily, two-hour play sessions during Box Works. All sessions will operate at limited capacity and the museum will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each session. Tickets are $10 member/ $15 non-member. Infants under 12 months are free and all guests, two years of age and older are required to be masked at all times.
