48 Heights High Students Named AP Scholars

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Nearly 50 Heights High students have been recognized for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement tests. According to the district, 48 members of the classes of 2021 and 2022 were recognized this week by the College Board, which administers Advanced Placement tests and honors students who score consistently well on the exams. Heights High had 28 students named AP Scholars for earning scores of 3 or higher on three or more exams. Another 12 students were named AP Scholars with Honor for earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all their AP Exams, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams. Live in Cleveland Heights? Eight students were named AP Scholars with Distinction for receiving an average score of 3.5 or higher on all exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams. Superintendent Elizabeth Kirby recognized all of the outstanding students during a Board of Education meeting in early September.
