Description
Press Techniques Inc. has an immediate opening for a person interested in the machinery repair trades, has an understanding of electrical circuitry, PLC systems, and logic controls - and wishes to develop a career servicing industrial machinery.
Ideal candidate has knowledge and skill with installation and troubleshooting of industrial motor controls, relay logic, and computer-driven control systems. This person must be able to read and interpret wiring schematics and ladder diagrams, must have an understanding of machinery controls and computer interfacing, and have a desire to troubleshoot control faults on many types of controls. Understanding of pneumatics is important. Experience or interest in hydraulics is a plus.
You must have a valid IL Driver’s License to be considered for this position, and it is important that you have some tools and a tool chest.
Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm. We require a reasonable orientation period, after which benefits are offered per our policies. We offer health insurance as well as a qualified retirement plan.
