ATLANTA — The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is hosting a job expo Saturday to recruit deputy sheriffs and detention officers.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, 545 Hill Street in southeast Atlanta.

Prospective candidates should bring a high school diploma or transcript, a college diploma or transcript, a valid driver's license, military separation papers (DD-214, if applicable), out-of-state driving history if applicable, and proof of citizenship in the form of either a birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers.
Applicants should be prepared and able to complete physical fitness assessment criteria including running one mile in 13 minutes or less, 15 pushups in 60 seconds and 15 situps in 60 seconds, FCSO officials said.
