Female hound mix, approx 7 years old. Very affectionate and knows basic commands. She does not get along with our other dogs and cat. She has been great with us and our kids. Enjoys being both indoors and outdoors. We usually leave her out in the yard during the day and put her in a kennel inside at night. We currently have her eating puppy food for weight gain, we rehomed her once and she came back to us skinny. She was returned because she couldn’t get along with her new family’s dog either, so we would like to see her go to a home where she will be the only pet. Asking a $25 rehoming fee which will cover transferring her microchip to your name. She will come with her XXL kennel that she sleeps in as well as food/water dishes. She is house and crate trained. She was originally a stray with possible history of abuse, so she scares pretty easily. We have three kids under the age of six who run around with her and climb on her and she doesn’t have any problem with them. We can bring her to you, or meet in the middle. She’s a sweet girl, just needs to be the only pet in the home. *I’ve had a few people ask if I think she would do well in a farm setting or somewhere with open land. We have kept her in our fenced in yard and before she came to us she was a stray so I honestly have no idea if she would stick around without a fence or not. There have been instances where we have left the gate open while doing yard work and she hasn’t offered to leave the yard, but one of us would always be out there so I can’t say for sure that she wouldn’t run if left unattended. I will add that with her size, she could easily jump our fence but has never done this, so it doesn’t seem like she’s one to run away.
