Description
Years ago I did a seminar called “How To Get Any Job You Ever Apply For” at two local Christian Schools. It was a huge hit and had a great response, AND, great results. One of the most important things I taught, is how to create and acquire great references from an early age. I believe my job offer, is an incredible opportunity for a young person to earn such a reference. My last personal assistant received a written reference that, I believe, will be a major player in her getting future jobs. As an employer, if I received this reference with her job application, seriously, I would hire her on the spot.
The job is helping with anything I need help with…washing the dog, housework, some business items like filing, doing receivables once a month, etc., cleaning out the cars, peeling aloe leaves, making raw food mix for pets, maybe helping me cook, cleaning and painting in our rental units, etc.
This position would be great for a young person, 13-18 with a sunny disposition, a great work ethic, WANTS TO WORK, dependable, reliable, good work speed, good appearance, no profanity or vulgarity, TEACHABLE that wants to acquire a great reference for their next job endeavor.
Also, I have other wonderful "helps" and tips to a young person wanting to break into the "tipping" restaurant industry.
Prefer: Tues, Thurs., Fri 9-12AM (flexible)
Great reference earned by 6-9th month of employment.
Will be working in my home, so may feel a bit isolated.
We have 2 kitty’s and a dog
Must be able to safely lift 30-40 lbs.
1st month: $13/hr goes to $14 hr/ month 2 and $15/hr. month 3
This may be your first job ever. In that case, please acquire family, friends acquaintances willing to write a little something as to why they feel you would be a great fit.
