Description
The Cosumnes Community Services District is urgently seeking qualified individuals for the position of part-time seasonal, Maintenance Aide. The season is expected to run through mid March. This position offers many shifts including early morning hours, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 am or end as late as 2:00 am. Preference will be given to those candidates whose availability includes nights and weekend hours.
Under close supervision, the Facility Maintenance Aide performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks in the maintenance of facilities including recreation centers, preschools, community centers, administration buildings, fire stations, training centers and related facilities or the Emerald Lakes Golf Course. This position is used throughout the District and may be assigned to the Parks and Recreation, Administration, or Fire Department with a specific area of responsibility including Facilities or Golf Course Maintenance. Functions and responsibilities expected to be performed may vary by department and area of assignment.
Requirements:
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
None required.
Special Requirements:
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, First Aid and CPR/AED certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment; Certification must be maintained through employment;
Must possess, and maintain throughout employment a valid California Class "C" driver's license, with a clean driving record;
Must be 18 years of age or older on or before August 1, 2021.
