Baked cheese haus as a vendor at Bryant park holiday market is offering a job from October 29th until January 2nd. About us: Baked Cheese Haus is a Wisconsin specialty and artisanal cheese company. We travel the country participating in the best fairs, festivals and holiday markets to offer our cheeses, the Swiss Dog and more. We offer Swiss-style Raclette at many of our events and festivals. We melt half wheels of Alpine cheese under traditional Raclette warmers, and scrape the cheese onto toasted baguettes. Position: There will always be 2 persons working in the booth. Both of them should be able to switch among two working positions: 1. Cheese scraper 2. Cashier Job requirements: - organizing a food station before opening hours - preparing and serving food from the menu - maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas - speaking English, speaking Spanish is a plus but not required - accurately record orders on a cash register, and sometimes calling orders out - closing the cash register and cleaning the working station at the end of the shift - certificate in food protection (issued by NYC dep. Of health and mental hygiene) is a great plus What we offer: - paid training in duration of 2-3 days - salary of minimum $15 per hour plus tip - flexible schedule All shortlisted candidates will have a short video conversation to discuss further details.
