Join Kelly Services, we are hiring Material Handlers for Fed Ex in Salt Lake City, UT Shift / Pay rate: (Weekly pay) 1st-  8 AM- 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $15.00 Manually handles blades other related products for preparation to pack for shipping. Performs frequent adjustment to machines equipment. Operate, set-up and troubleshoot packaging machine Performs basic maintenance, cleaning, upkeep on equipment, machinery, tooling, work area. Prepares material required in processing each operation. Properly follow all instructions procedures related to each specific operation. Manually loads blades, print plates ink cups for printing process. Maintains print plate to ensure high quality print quality Maintains proper flow of product to insure high customer service rates. Properly fill out all documentations, labels all packages, skids, racks, or containers Properly handles all scrap, rework mixed product. Ensures all products meet specifications. Maintain quality standards of product from blister to master pack. Maintain all relevant documentation. Sign off where appropriate indicating quality assurance. Performs any other task necessary to accomplish above duties Picking/packing product, using RF scanner for inventory if comfortable, lifting up to 40lbs, cleaning, stacking General Warehouse Duties NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS: High-energy, self-motivated team player individual willing to work through troubleshooting start-up issues Knowledge of basic shop math and familiarity with fractional imperial and metric based measurement systems Good eye hand coordination Basic mechanical ability Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, and precision measuring instruments including allen wrenches, and screwdrivers Proficiency in material handling operations. Know or capable of learning basic computer skills Able to make ink recipes Able to access traveler system, engineering documents, SAP drawing, 1st piece inspections etc. MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL/GED AND STEEL TOE SHOES/BOOTS What happens next Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
